While my lack of motivation prevented me from finishing this project to the standard that I had hoped, I still feel that my little Faerie Kingdom scene looks good.

I feel that there were more things that went wrong rather that right throughout this project, yet the things that did go well were how well the soft selection tool worked and how well the crystals ended up looking with the transparency and lighting effects.

As for things going wrong, let me start the list off by simply mentioning the word UV. Moving on from that catastrophe, I wanted to create little firefly lights in my scene but for some reason I was unable to make them. I feel as though I tried everything from mesh lights, to finding something in the node editor, playing in the attribute editor, even doing the same things as the crystals but for some reason it didn't work this time.... Very frustrating. I also had small problems with rendering and getting lights in my scene in the first place.

I feel however, that by introducing myself to the possibility of creating something other than Viking Themed I will most likely make something like his again, however bigger and more fantasy orientated (and also most likely using UE4). Yet by making this little scene I have learnt how to use soft selection, Normal maps, edge loops and beveling, as prior to this project I would say that I was quite 'raw' with my modelling techniques.

For future 3D modelling, I would really like to learn how to use Sculpting programs, as I feel that this would benefit my modelling skills greatly.
