We started off this week by presenting all that we had done throughout the trimester, and all that we had learnt. After this we all just tried to finish up the little things we had left. Then on Wednesday we had our exhibition night. At 5 our whole class participated in Secret Santa which was really fun and our Lecturer helped us set it up which was really sweet. Then we set up our computers for exhibition and started the waiting game. During the night one of my classmates grabbed me and took me to a man who was looking at my show reel, and it turned out that he was an industry professional! We talked for a long while about my skills and about his concept which funnily enough had an incredible amount of things in common with my lifestyle as a reenactor, like what are the chances in that! My Auntie visited me and my brother and I took her around the uni and we looked at the other discipline's work, which was great. I was a bit shaky for the rest of the night due to adrenaline and lack of food, but overall it was an incredible night.
The next few days were us just waiting to see if there was anything we needed to update or change in order to meet the baseline, but I think I'm in the clear.
This Trimester has been so much fun (incredibly stressful, but fun), and I know for sure that I would not have succeeded as much as I did without my whole incredible class, and our amazingly dedicated Lecturer Katie. Thank you to all! Already I am busily thinking of all my potential ideas for the next Trimester and am frantically saving for a computer (As since the beginning of the course I have only had a laptop). I am looking forward to next year, and cannot wait to see what I, and my classmates, can and will create.
