During the beginning of the week I began creating content for another Cross Discipline Project: This one being outside of University.

I have been asked to create some logo designs for a up and coming creator. He wrote me down a brief, and his general idea and elements he wanted included.

His Brief consisted of:

- Creating designs suited for a Facebook banner, t shirt print, business card size and micro size to put on a small label the size of a business card with logo small enough to be centered or cornered.

- Both Line work and coloured designs.

- Due mid August.

- Simple and Stylised Design.

- Name: 'Mountain Rise Sourdough & Goods'

- Consisting of a eagle, a sun, mountains, 3 balancing rocks on top of the mountain, and a river.

Below are some of the ideas I created for him:

I sent through the designs through Facebook and await feedback.

I made another Grey-box more accurate to what I want to create. I really wanted to create a environment on a pedestal of some sort, so that it felt framed and finished:

Below is the Sketch I based the model on:

I also made another Log using PBR textures, I have just have found it hard turning them into shaders/materials.

I also made some rocks following a tutorial on how to make shattered rocks:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2WqeUddTIcE

I also used PBR textures on these too which I think look pretty realistic.

I made some grass using PBR textures applied onto a plane with a transparency node, which was then duplicated and put into a a overlapping shape:

The image to the Left was configured in a star pattern, while the image to the right was simply just arranged randomly. I think the star configuration looks much better.

I also made some broken logs based on the same shattering rocks effect, but with logs:

I also manually made a log based off an image of a wire frame log mesh i found on Textures . com.

I also had a go at texturing my axe I modeled last week, however the shaders are not working properly.

The leather has turned out very shiny/reflective when it shouldn't be. I did add in roughness maps but this is still happening.

I also finally started making my long house, and started making the Shingles. I made around 8 different shingles on the same texture map, then assembled them in rows. This is very time consuming but hopefully the effect will look nice once its done.

This week was very productive and so I feel confident that I will get everything done in time.
