This week I felt like I did ALLOT of work. Although I don't have a whole lot to show for it.
To start the week off I stayed at University for 12 hours straight, which was a big day... I modeled some rocks, textured them as well as the log I made last week, and I officially started a cross discipline project with Dan (the audio student I worked with last Trimester for the After Math Project).
Below are some images of the work I created:

When it came to the cross discipline project, I created an art bible and set up a time to meet Dan. We had already planned to get straight into recording so we met in an audio studio.
To clarify this cross discipline project, I have asked Dan (and Jermayne, his brother and audio team member) to record myself singing a Viking herding call, and edit together a piece of music to accompany the vocals. This piece of music will be used as backup music for either my show reel or a cinematic animation of my final piece of work.
I was very nervous at first, but the recording session went really well I thought, and only made 6 or 8 takes, which isn't too bad. Dan will be getting back to me next week with some progress.
I also put together a grey box of my final piece of work. I want to create another Viking house, with either a small environment around it or a platform for the house to sit on.
Below is the grey box:

I also drew up a potential idea in Photoshop as a smaller scope idea:

Lastly, I began creating some assets for my final piece of work using what I have learnt through the tutorial I watched last week. I made sure that the entire axe was created with even polygons (no triangle's or strange cuts) and I followed another tutorial on how to create the wraps: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ne1CzmRkogQ
Below is the finished modeled axe I created (using reference):

I also began creating another axe for versatility purposes/more options however I did not finish it.
That's all I did this week, like I said, for the amount if time I spent this week, not a whole lot to show but I am still pretty happy with everything that I have created.
