This week was a little bit of a catch up week for World Builders as my rendering took much longer than i had anticipated... I spent 146 hours all up rendering... and It still didnt render all the frames I had originally.
I had a silly issue where at frame 587 the frame just froze at 99% and it stayed that was for hours. when I finally noticed I had to close the program and try to start again with no avail. It would constantly freeze no matter where I started from... And I wasnt able to figure out why this was happening (only that it might have had something to do with the render sequencer).
Aside from that, I sorted it out by crossfading the the last frame I could render with the first few frames of the render to complete the time cycle. I also used allot of After Effects to create volumetric light, edit music and add in the characters fading in and out to create the story.
Above is the final edited Cinematic Trailer.
Now, I am able to move forward from World Builders and onto Specialisation!
I have figured out that I would like to learn about Stylized modelling and hand painted textures to eventually add into my showreel for exhibition night. I had fun making the stylized models in World Builders, however i really didnt have much clue on how it would all turn out in a 3D stylized way. And so I would like to follow a bunch of tutorials and speed modelling videos on making stylized models and then learning how to texture them, either using photoshop or substance painter.
So far I have watched 4 Hand painting tutorials and have created 5 tileable textures which I am relitively happy with:

I would like to write myself a list of textures I would like to create, as well as a list of models I would like to make. But until I have watched some tuorials and looked at references, I wont be writing any lists yet.
